This is one of my family’s favorites that I make this as a healthier alternative to Rice Krispy Treats. Super easy and quick too!

The trick here is quick mixing, and hard pressing into the dish. Also, try to be a bit patient and let the mix cool before trying to cut it into squares.

This is so good as a sweet little treat.

In a medium saucepan over low-medium heat, melted butter. Add marshmallows, jam and 1 tablespoon of chips and mix until melted and incorporated. Add cereal and, using a rubber or silicone spatula quickly combine with melted ingredients coating cereal. Press mixture into a parchment lined 8 x 8 baking dish. While still warm, press remaining tablespoon of chips into the top of the mixture. Allow to cool. Place in refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before attempting to cut into 12 squares.
