Why have just a B.L.T when you can have bacon (turkey), spinach, cheese and tomato one. I am home sweet home and too tired to cook so I made this quick sandwich and grilled it on my Foreman Grill. One little trick I learned is if you do this and want that nice toasted grilled cheese effect is to spray the outside of the bread with a little cooking spray on both sides that touch the grill surface.
- 2 light whole wheat slices of bread
- 4 slices of fat free American cheese singles
- 1 slice turkey bacon, cooked
- 1/2 cup of fresh spinach
- 4 slices of tomato
- 2 teaspoons of mustard
Spray outside of bread slices that will be in contact with grill or pan surface. Spread each slice of bread with mustard. Place 2 slices of cheese on each slice. Add spinach, tomatoes and bacon slice. Grill or fry with cooking spray.
